Hahahah, no I'm saying distortion's usually for music that's got less soul to it, more alt-rock type stuff than blues or Zeppelin or whatever; it's all power no soul. So as long as you're just trying to add some power to the music, you might as well just get a cheap pedal (unless you're playing metal, in which case, I guess you can be picky since all you're playing is power-music).

agreed, distortion pedals dont have a whole lot of personality. i use them to solo, mostly as a booster, thats about it.

Don't have a picture but here's what i use.

Arion Tuner->Little Big Muff->DS-2/Bad Monkey->Crybaby->DOD FX65->Digidelay.
I have a spot left on my board and for the life of me I cant decide what I should get to fill that space.

I don't think there is anything wrong with using distorstion for s song. And more than just songs with dist have taken off for RHCP. Soul to Squeeze? Scar Tissue? Under The Bridge? the list goes on and on.

I personally like my wren and cuff fuzz for my drive sounds, and a tube screamer for dirty blues playing. Will post a photo of my board soon.

Since revamping my board, I took out my volume pedal. I also have a digitech whammy I want to put in there somewhere. Anyone got any ideas where I could possible place one or both of those pedals?

Don't have a picture right now but this is what I'm using right now.
Arion Tuner
Little Big Muff
DS-2
Crybaby
DOD FX65
Digidelay

Sometimes I replace the DS-2 with a Bad Monkey.

Pretty happy with my setup right now although i AM hoping to save up for a Micro Synth. But I can't decide between the Micro Synth and the Line 6 FM4. What's worse is none of the shops here have either in stock so I can't even try them out. Any suggestions?

You should go with the FM4. The Line 6 has MUCH MORE tones and sounds like the Micro Synth - in an awesome quality. If you want a crazy synth-machine go with the MS but the filter modeler is more flexible. I had both on my board but I had to sell one of them for a DL4 (sorry my lovely DD-3) and I sold the MS :)

I hope I could help you!

The FM4 is going to open up way more possibilities, and the synth sounds on it are decent. Not as good as the MS, but the extra variety made it worth it for me.

Sometimes I use a DOD FX65 Stereo Chorus, the black WH10 or the Boss FZ-3 Fuzz/black Big Muff/Arbiter Fuzzface on my board :)

Hi Guys!

I wanna make a pedalboard for myself. Kind of one that this guy has. I want to wear it in a kind of bag.

Can you advice me which bag is best for wearing this one? Or can anyone show some options?
