Latley I've been using Elixer Medium acoustic strings and D'Addario XL super top reg.bottoms electric strings.
I really like Elixers, the coating is just awesome. It helps the strings retain their "new string" sound for longer.
What types of strings do you all prefer??

Elixers run for $18.50 at my music store but they are quite worth it to me.
The D'Addarios are like $5.

they are expensive but i figure if they last 3 times as long as others, it kinda works out for the best.

im sick of my d'adarrios rusting after like 3-4 weeks, the guitar shop guy said its the humidity we've got at the moment, but he also said there wasn't an alternative, so i shall ask him if he stocks these

Same for me, although I've tried Elixers, but they are just too expensive for strings... I also had my period of Ernie Ball, but I just like D'Addarios better
