What types of strings do you all prefer.

Latley I've been using Elixer Medium acoustic strings and D'Addario XL super top reg.bottoms electric strings.

I really like Elixers, the coating is just awesome. It helps the strings retain their "new string" sound for longer.

Ha yeah. Before I started making money I played a set of strings till they broke. But now with a Job I've been venturing.

Elixers run for $18.50 at my music store but they are quite worth it to me.

The D'Addarios are like $5.

yeah i use elixers on my twelve string and find i change them half as often as i used to and never break a string either.
they are expensive but i figure if they last 3 times as long as others, it kinda works out for the best.

Same for me, although I've tried Elixers, but they are just too expensive for strings... I also had my period of Ernie Ball, but I just like D'Addarios better
