iva, i didn't want to say anything harmful about you or i-m.net, because i think you a great person and i-m.net is a awesome site
it's just that i started posting here only a few months ago. and i never posted thaaaat much (okay over 200 posts sure are many, but not that many).
there were forums where i used to have more than 10.000 and i was pretty much addicted to the internet.
i quit a while ago, but i stayed here because i was not addicted to post here. it's just a nice community and i like being here, but not more.

and i would like to stop making offtopic posts. this thread is about Solo X

between john/rhcp/ mars volta albums, i like to get into new music/bands...for example, the song that got me interested in led zeppelin, deep purple etc was readymade, i like the rolling stones now, didnt even listen to them a year ago, because of all of the stuff jf said about how they used to record their music in the 60s etc, now im listening to funk music, 60s pop etc. listening to jf albums opens your mind to different styles of music and changes the way you think about things....when they where recording stadium arcadium, i was on the computer every day for maybe a year and a half waiting for information about it when i should have been listening to new music and doing other things instead, like learning how to play guitar lol!...now i dont even get that exited waiting for new albums because i know ill only waste time...

oh and i reckon/hope johns going do something along the lines of "to record only water" i can loose myself in that album or from the sounds inside. especially at night or driving in my car at night

i usually just go to the library and lend as much CDs as i can, listen to all of them and judge what is good and what's not good.
in my opinion this is the best way to get into new music, because it's legal, you are forced to listen to it, because you have only 1 month and you learn something about yourself (what do you like, and what not).
i can only recommend it

I spoke to John at Hullabaloo last night. He said the new album is slated to be released on January 20th and is entitled "The Imperium."

(He may have said "The Imperion," but I couldn't say for sure. Imperium makes logical sense, referring to the power held by Roman emperors. Imperion is not, to my knowledge, a word with any particular definition.)

He also said he had no plans to do any live Performance-type shows anytime soon, as he was focusing on being creative rather than presenting music to audiences right now.

He was just there as an audience member. I didn't talk to him about anything else as he was there with his girlfriend and I didn't want to bug him too much.
