Anita, great news! Thank you :)

My friend hung out with Omar and Cedric in Paris and she told me the very same thing but I forgot to post it, so err...now your story reminded me of it. They also added that John isn't going outside much because he's dedicated to the project and he's really motivated to finish it.

Dennix, got your PM, will take care of it; I'm really worn out now, don't know if I'll even finish the update I planned for today.

Yes, it must be true then, I hanged around with them after the show too, got home the morning the next day. They are amazing guys, but I didn't want to ask too much about John, he told me he is not going out much, has got too much on his mind, ideas, recording. They recorded lots of stuff together too and that sits in Omar's studio, and never gets released. Omar is too busy, will release 7 albums this year.

That is not true. :) ;)

Listen what Omar answers to someone who is screaming while they're playing lol

Well, this was one thing my cousin asked Omar, and that was his answer. Maybe depends on the venue, this was Brixton Academy, London. He also said he can't see much from the stage as he doesn't wear his glasses.

Fantastic news! Maybe the speculation that he'll release a bunch of albums like in 2004 is true?! That'd be wonderfully amazing. I only hope certain rumours surrounding the electronic album aren't true...or limited. (Maybe I shouldn't say that.....)

Thanks everyone :)

You can say that :) , ASITHOS wasn't my favourite of the 2004 albums either. But any JF is good, and certainly better than nothing.

Great news ;)

I was just reading that TapeOp interview John did a few months back where the interviewer asks if he wants to talk about the new album. He says:

"I feel kinda funny talking about it until it's done. I don't wanna exhaust the ideas by turning them into verbosity or something. For me, making music- it's something you just do."

I reckon if he's in the groove he could have a loads of stuff done. He's been at it for ages now and hasn't stopped to talk about it or anything.

right

not to even mention that the TapeOp Interview dates back from the Grammies2007-era (which was around January2007)

so really he could have done anything in the meantime...

and so it was back in 2004, when Shadows had just been released, noone would have ever guessed that John had recorded other 6 new albums in the meantime... so fingers crossed! :D

I didn't get it. I read everything three times and didn't get it. Is Solo X — tltctonic album or it is on its own and electronic is the other one?

I don't like idea of electronic album a lot. But I may assume that John could make ASITHOS as more expremental and other electronic album will be more developed.

Serhiy, I'm fairly certain that the electronic album is a completely separate body of work from "Solo X."

Shit, I never fully appreciated the guitar solo in this song, I don't know why not.

I love to think that John's hard at work making lots of different music. Even at the thought it's just :D

I agree, I'm pretty sure the electronic album has nothing to do with the album with Flea and Josh (Solo X), it's another one he's currently workin on, Solo X should already be done

That makes sense, unless he's redoing it all, the way he did with AWII.
