ok someone posted this on the RHCP forum!

"Ok so last night I went to see Heavens at the Troubador and I spoke with Ryan Hewitt(the guy who mixed SA, JF's albums) and we were talking about the stuff hes working on and he told me after I brought up johns albums that we there will be a new JF album late summer. I was suprised when he told me that Flea would be playing the bass and also said Josh would be playing the drums. It isnt a lot of news but at least its somthing to look forward too."

I really hope this is true!! I'm excited! I think I would pass out, if not die, of excitement if I found out that he was doing a solo tour. I'll have my license and I will drive whatever distance!!!

Everyone is pretty much thinking along the same lines in this thread - before I even finished reading the first post my heart got all jumpy imagining a tour! But RHCP will be in Europe for most of the summer so I doubt he would promote a new release during that time. I think the tour is over at the end of August. Maybe after that...? Either way, I hope it's true - it's always awesome when John gives us more music. :whee:

Josh on drums!Yay! I hope that's true. Although, when an album comes out in summer in the USA, it's in Serbia probably the next summer or later, so I don't think I'll get the album this year if it comes out.

I hope it's true! Flea and John together is always good stuff.

And I would run, walk, crawl, rollerblade, sneak onto a plane, whatever to get to a show if he tours. :whee:

And have you seen how the cars when they pass, they come your way, then they're speeding away, coming to you and then gone away but for them nothing's changed...

I would sacrifice an arm if I had to just to see a John solo show. I really hope this news is true and that he plays somewhere in the US.

i shall capture myself a duck and get him to teach me the wise ways of flying, duck style... and upon learning the majestic duck's flying techniques i shall fly to one of these shows.
