1 - Threads in this particular forum older than 90 days (during busy times, it's 60 days) will be closed. If you didn't get to greet someone, don't worry, there is always a chance to make them feel welcome elsewhere on the forum. This is done to prevent oldest threads from suddenly being on top of the forum, which often causes a mess and, of course, to prevent post count hunters from whatever their goal is.

2 - When introducing yourself, DO NOT hijack someone else's thread and say that you're new as well. It's kinda weird and kinda rude, too. In most cases, your post will be separated and turned into a thread of its own.

3 - This should NOT be a place to tell your story of being a fan - tell us about YOURSELF, who you are, where you're from, what you like. Can't be any more simple! For your fan stories, there's a thread elsewhere. Same goes for bragging about your meet and greet experiences etc - be sensitive to people who haven't and might not experience that at all, there are many young souls who caught up only recently. Please!

4 - If your first post is about requesting help with the site, it will be moved to the help forum.
If your first post is about John and RHCP in general, it will be moved to general discussion.
If your first post is about help with some gear or your music; or showing off what you have (despite the fact that it's totally tacky to make that your first post) it will be moved to the musicians' forum.
If you want to buy or sell something (despite the fact that it's totally tacky to make that your first post), it will be moved to the marketplace.

To put it simply: this forum is only a place for getting people to know you.
