jurjen thats great. you can play guitar too if you want? and sing too!!! just add overdubs of your guitar where you think it will fit... the more the merrier!! and as for singing... these are the lyrics Admir has come up with so far. so if you want to have a go at bashing them together with some sort of melody go for it!! change them around to fit in with the song or tempo and feel free to add your own bits to it/take bits away etc etc!! pm me if you need to know more!!!

CHANCE OF A LIFETIME

Can i get your hand to ride on
Can i get your sense to hang on
What a way to find you dreaming
Life less ordinary is what i'm seeing

Did you get your piece of puzzle
Do you need my dreams to come around
Perfect picture without a sound
Rezonate me and then rebound

Silver smile and chance of a lifetime
i'm gonna get you through spaces
of my mind
give it up,i know what i came for
make it happen,im here to stay for

I'll take you without a penetration
Show you another form of sensation
I can give you what you've sealed
Make you open and be revealed

Take us now to the snowy road
In my heart is where i'm cold
My only wish for you to hold

Silver smile and chance of a lifetime
i'll gonna get you through spaces
of my mind

Amy maybe we can tweak these lyrics a bit. i like them but they are a bit too close to home for me... Some are very close to Chili Pepper stuff (not sure if you realised Admir). just stuff like...

Can i get your hand to ride on
(Can i get your hand to write on - from Zephyr Song)

Silver smile and chance of a lifetime
(Silveretta the jets of a lifetime - universally speaking)

thats the two lines that hit me when i read it. i'm not trying to take over or anything guys just want the song to be super original, give people no reason to say we ripped it off from the Peppers lyrically. just a thought....

i see what you mean Stu, well if Jurjen decides he does want to sing he can mess around with them a bit, or even you can if you have time. Admir if you get a chance too maybe you can tweak them a bit aswell seeing as they're your baby!!

its funny how people are keen to do instrument stuff but singing is something people find most awkward (maybe thats just me and other people dont get like that)! i dont think people are as bad as they think they are alot of the time. hey...i wonder if you could get sister ray to have a go??? just an idea since i listened to her topic earlier, dont know how shed feel about it?? sorry if thats putting anyone in an awkward position, please ignore me utterly if it does, because i just thought sister ray voice good and might work.
ill butt out now - i have a bad habit of getting too involved in stuff. :P

the skitter experience - woah! that would be a little odd, dont you think?! :P
im interested because i do write my own stuff so i find the process of creation fascinating, rather than wanting to take part, you know? so im interested in the topic from an orbiting stance...i get inspired when things start working out and i can see this great potential that could be capitalized on.

Ok so at present this is how we stand...

Guitar - Stu

Guitar - Amy

Bass - Claudia / Justin

Drums - Stu (but thats a drum programme, real drummer still wanted!!)

Vocals and Backing Vocals- Claudia / Maz

Lyrics - Admir

Next on the agenda.... a name for the group!! "Virtual Band 2" isn't really that catchy imo!! :furious: Anyone with any idea's post them up!! When we have a list of idea's we can just do a poll or vote to find the best one!! :)

And anymore musicians out there? the more the merrier!!
